The first stage in implementation of cultural programs was a project aimed at the support of Ukrainian film industry and drawing of international attention to Ukraine. To this end TOP Ukraine engaged cooperation of the big names in world cinema. Ukrainian premiere of the movie "The Expendables" with personal visit of Hollywood movie stars Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren and Jason Statham, which was held in Kiev only in a few days after the world premiere in USA, spread talking about Ukraine widely abroad. Producing of a feature movie directed by Jean Claude Van Dam "The Tower" with Ukrainian actors became a major contribution to the support and development of the national film industry. A second Odessa International Film Festival annually supported by TOP Ukraine, has become one of the biggest cultural events of the year.

 

In October 2011, TOP Ukraine sponsored the Ukrainian release of the documentary movie "Klitschko", which reveals the story of success and family life of Vitaliy and Wladimir Klitschko - Ukrainian boxing stars. Movie’s director Sebastian Denhardt's personally presented "Klitschko" at the Ukrainian premiere held on July 2011 during Odessa International Film Festival. Due to activity of TOP Ukraine this movie became accessible to a wide range of Ukrainian viewers. Recognized by numerous film festivals around the world, distributed in many countries including USA, this movie-portrait of the legendary Ukrainian boxers not only inspires the future athletes, but also creates a positive image of Ukraine in a wide global audience.
