International patronage organization TOP Ukraine actively and on regular basis supports Ukrainian and foreign athletes and sportsmen, organizes in Ukraine the leading sports events involving international sports stars and promotes sporting achievements of Ukraine in various international competitions.

 

Equestrian sport

 

The founder of international patronage organization TOP Ukraine Oleksandr Onishchenko is the President of Equestrian Federation of Ukraine, Master of Sport in jumping who actively contributes a lot to the development and improvement of equestrian sports in Ukraine.

 

TOP Ukraine on regular basis cooperates with Equestrian Federation of Ukraine and mutually organizes national and international competitions in such kinds of equestrian sports as show jumping, eventing, dressage, racing.

 

Due to the efforts of the President of Equestrian Federation of Ukraine in 2008 the national team in equestrian sports for the first time in the history of independent Ukraine successfully performed at the Olympic Games in Hong Kong.

 

 

Tennis

 

The regular project of “TOP Ukraine” which is dedicated to tennis is organization and holding of unique charitable tennis tournaments where world-famous tennis-players partake.

 

Alexander Onishchenko has long-termly supported and promoted the careers of such international professional tennis players as Tommy Robredo, David Ferrer and Carolina Wozniacki. In 2009, these tennis stars gladly agreed to join charity tennis tournament organized by TOP Ukraine on a free of charge basis. This event was also attended by such leading world-famous tennis-players as Anna Kournikova, Andrey Medvedev, Victoria Azarenka and Yevgeny Kafelnikov. The tournament funded 240 000 UAH which were forwarded to the "Cancer Institute" under the donation progam by means of philanthropic purposes of charity foundation “Rodina” run by Mr. Onischenko.

 

TOP Ukraine plans to arrange and hold of the qualifying international tournament in tennis, involving acting professional tennis players of the world level.

 

Football

 

The founder of TOP Ukraine Alexander Onishchenko, as a big football fan and former president of FC "Cherkasy", realizes the philantropic potential of this most stellar sport in the world, which draws millions of people around the world.

 

In September 2011 TOP Ukraine held charity football match "Football Legends" which gathered legendary world-famous football players as Ruud Gulit, Yuri Dzhorkaef, Marcel Desailly, Frank de Boer, Vincent Candela, etc., and also Ukrainian star footballers of FC " Dynamo" - Andriy Shevchenko, Sergei Rebrov, Alexander Shovkovsky, Vladislav Vashchuk, Oleg Luzhny, Andriy Husin, Valentin Belkevich etc. Pupils from asylums of Kiev region were invited to watch this unforgettable match and the collected funds were transferred to the charitable programs of the Alexander Onishchenko’s fund "Rodina".

One of the new activities of TOP Ukraine was the support of boxing bouts of legendary Ukrainian heavy-weight boxers-brothers Vitaliy and Wladimir Klitschko who are Ukrainian super-heroes and icons of for fans of box all over the world.

 

In July 2011 the international patronage organization TOP Ukraine has become an organizational partner of bout Wladimir Klitschko vs. David Haye, which took place in Frankfurt at Imtech Arena.

 

TOP Ukraine draws to and involves Ukrainian and foreign sports legends to various charitable projects, thus promoting a healthy lifestyle, positive values ​​and traditions of philanthropy in Ukrainian society.
